Government College Jind Students and NCC cadets organised Awareness Rally on Road Safety and Helmet Use on 1st April 2025

Awareness rally on road safety and helmet use was organized by the joint effort of State College, Jind's Road Safety Club and NCC Unit. The rally was aimed to educate students and the general public about traffic rules and explain the importance of wearing helmets. The program was led by Lieutenant Pankaj Batra in charge of Road Safety Club while the campaign was conducted under the guidance of Project Director Madam Ritu and Monica Jaglan. Other prominent members Poonam, Gurdeep Sir and Randhir also played an important role in this event. The program received full support of Principal Manish Kumar and Deputy Principal Shamsher ji. The rally started with the college campus, which passed through various roads of the city. Students and NCC cadets encouraged people to wear helmets and follow traffic rules through slogans, posters and mass communication. On this occasion, Lt. Pankaj Batra said that it is very important to walk on the road with discipline and responsibility. Project Director Madam Ritu and Monica Jaglan inspire students to be aware of road safety citizens. Principal Manish Kumar praised the initiative, said "Road safety begins with awareness, and our students are playing an important role in this direction." ” At the end of the program all participants took oath to follow traffic rules and inspire others too. The rally successfully conveyed in conveying the message of the importance of road safety and helmet to the public.
